Registrations are now open for my 'Get Off Auto' workshop at the Station Gallery in Whitby. Cost is $115 for gallery members and $125 for non-members. Registrations can be made via the Station Gallery website.
The HDR software review series continues... Parts IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX are now on the blog.

I'll be teaching a 6 week workshop at Station Gallery in Whitby beginning September 29. The workshop is called 'Get Off Auto' and will help particants get more out of their photos by taking control of their cameras. More information in the Workshops section of the About page.

I'm pleased to announce that he is being represented by Nordac Gallery Canada. The gallery is at 16 King Street East, Oshawa, ON. Nordac displays and sells 100% Canadian art/artists, the majority of which are from Durham Region. I am one of only two photographers in the gallery.

I've been accepted by the jury into the Ontario Artists Victoria Day Weekend Arts Show May 23/24 at historic Sharon Temple in Sharon, ON
I'll be returning to the Cobourg Waterfront Festival Art Show July 1-4 as well as the Uxbridge Art in the Park show August 21/22

A new Tutorial discussing some advanced HDR editing tips has been added.
A catalogue of all the prints being shown in the McLean Community Centre Exhibit is now available for viewing. The opening reception is Friday, January 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening. Refreshments will be available. This is an open event. If you know of others who may be interested, please feel free to pass the details along to them.

I'll be giving a presentation on Photoimpressionism at the Art for All Canada Conference. The conference runs March 6/7, 2010 at Metro Hall in Toronto. There will be an exhibit of a variety of artists and media from March 6 to 13. The presentation will be on the Saturday afternoon. Please check back closer to the conference for the exact time.

I will have a solo exhibit at Isabella's Cafe in Oshawa beginning October 31 and running for 3 weeks. The exhibit will include a selection of impressionistic images on canvas as well as a number of the new metal print series.

Uxbridge Art in the Park this weekend (Aug 15/16) at Elgin Park in Uxbridge. Over 80 artists in a variety of media and genre will be displaying and selling their work. The show will also include demonstrations by some of the artists. There will be an auction of donated art to support local charity. It's supposed to be a great weekend if we can believe the weather forecast. Come out, say hello and wander through the displays.

I'll will be conducting a 6 week workshop in basic photography and digital editing at The Painted Tree in Cobourg, ON beginning September 10.
